Valorant 7.08 Patch Notes: What's New in the Game?
Hello, Valorant fans! It’s time to dive deep into the newest updates that are shaping your gameplay experience. From smoke visual enhancements to exciting changes in your Level Border and Player Card collections, here’s what you can expect:
General Tweaks
A little rejigging has been done with the Agent rows at the game’s bottom, paving the way for future Agent introductions.
Key Agent Modifications
**Smoke Visual Updates:** Ever been caught off-guard when a smoke suddenly dissipates? That’s about to change. Smokes from Agents like Astra, Brimstone, and Omen will now offer visual and audio hints 1.5 seconds before they fade. A welcome change to ensure strategic play!
**Audio Tweaks:** The sound of players equipping abilities won’t be audible to allies anymore, providing consistency with the rules around gun and ability equipping sounds.
Premier Play Adjustments
**Tournament Queue Changes:** The Playoffs Tournament Queue duration is now cut short to 15 minutes. Remember, if your team isn’t queued up in this time, participation in the tournament will be a no-go.
Upon the waiting period’s end, teams still queued will be matched into brackets seeded by their Premier Score.
**Store Enhancements:** A facelift is coming to your Level Borders and Player Card UI! Experience a seamless process with the new grid UI to search, navigate, and equip.
Bug Rectifications
**Agent Fixes:** Deadlock and Neon have seen adjustments ensuring fair gameplay in specific maps.
Several general bugs, such as music hitching and shooting range bot issues, have been addressed.
Proper Ranked Rating penalties will be implemented for disruptive in-game behavior.
An audio fix ensures that the killbanner sound plays at the right volume.
