From what I've gathered, they're doing a bit of a number on the jungle. They're trying to dial back the whole “junglers rule the world” vibe in the mid and late game. The main idea is that junglers shouldn't be the big bosses just because they have control over those epic monsters. Plus, they're aiming to make life a bit easier for our jungle pals. Smoother smiting and some protective measures against those pesky camp poachers? Sounds like a win to me!

Snowballing - Not as Fast!

I've always felt games can snowball too quickly, and it seems Riot agrees! The update aims to slow down those rapid game advantages. More strategy, more epic mid-game fights – sounds pretty exciting, right?

Patch Highlights

So, it looks like Worlds 2023 Renekton, Coven Nami, Coven Nilah, Coven Akali, Coven Elise, Old God Mordekaiser, and Prestige Coven Akali are all set to drop on October 11, 2023, around 18:00 UTC. However, there's been a slight hiccup with Coven Syndra – she's been pushed back to the next patch release.

Now, here's something cool: Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan are coming to the store this patch, priced at 1820 RP each. And for those who own the original Star Guardian skin, there's a deal! You can snag the Redeemed version for the same champ at a 45% discount, which is around 1001 RP.

Jax Visual Update

In this patch we have Jax's Visual Update coming to servers everywhere! He still doesn't have a real weapon, but he does have a reel weapon. Make sure to give him a try and be sure to drop by your nearest river on the Rift to enjoy some fishing when you roam.

Champion Changes

Akshan: Q - Avengerang: Bonus Movement Speed scaled down, and E - Heroic Swing: Damage per Shot reduced across ranks.

Bel'Veth: Passive - Death In Lavender and R - Endless Banquet tweaked to shift her power to later game scaling.

Galio: Buffs to his W - Shield of Durand make him tankier and more viable in extended team fights.

Jinx: Stat buffs to her health growth, passive, and R cooldown ensure a more balanced place in the meta.

K'Sante: Major rework to stats and abilities to balance his presence across different skill tiers.

Kai'Sa: Armor reduction aimed at making her a bit more vulnerable in early laning phase.
